Abstract
In the arid and semi-arid conditions,differences existed in the performance between the applications of integrated and single technique aided afforestation.Pinus tabulaeformis and P.tabulaeformis f.sekannesis were selected as the test species,influences of different drought resistance techniques on the survival rates,and growth were investigated.The integrated technique of applying water retaining agent + plastic water controlling bag+permeable membrane exhibited more significant performance than that of applying single technique in seedling survival rate,seedling growing height,and the growth of the new twigs of the seedlings.
