Evaluation of Hydrocarbon Source Rock of the Middle Triassic Dajialian Formation of Halahu Depression in South Qilian Basin

Abstract
The hydrocarbon source rock of the middle triassic dajialian formation carbonate rock widely distribute in South Qilian Basin of Halahu Depression.Through collected the outcrop samples and use of organic carbon test,analysis of kerogen,rock pyrolysis and gas chromatography of saturated hydrocarbon for indoor sample test,the article discusses organic matter abundance,type and maturity of outcrop carbonate samples of dajialian formation in the studied area.The results show that the organic matter abundance is medium,the organic matter type isⅡ2,and the organic matter maturity has reached mature to high mature stage.It is finally eveluated as poor hydrocarbon source rock.
