Abstract

The canopy temperature difference of different mung boan varieties was found by observation canopy temperature change of An 9204 and Bao 942-34 in podding period. In a small area with the same climate and soil condition and cultivation measures in an agricultural ecological region, the canopy temperature of Bao 942-34 was constantly high and the canopy temperature of An 9204 was constantly low. The canopy temperature difference was more obviously in later maturation stage. Compared with high canopy temperature mung bean, low canopy temperature mung bean had smaller leaf thickness, more closely arranged palisade parenchyma and spongy parenchyma cells and less intercellular space . The leaf structure of low canopy temperature mung bean was slowly senile, and its mesophyll cells had more chloroplasts in later maturation stage.
