Abstract
Education and economic growth are of positive correlation and improvement in education can promote economic growth to some degree.Based on the statistic data from 1997 to 2003,this paper uses regression analysis to demonstrate the fact that education can contribute to economic growth from the two aspects of educational investment and education levels,and thus explain the validity of Chongqing Education Development Plan.
