The Hope in Crisis—On Structure and Modern Challenge and Actual Way Out of Freedom

Freedom or liberty is Marxist core value and highest objective.Marx′s concept of freedom is endowed with its unique connotation.In a opinion,freedom,conscious activity is the peculiarity for species of human being;the freedom of human being is just the freedom that can be given meaning;activity of this freedom given meaning is shown at present as economic freedom,freedom of political conviction,freedom of thought,and freedom of association,all of which are confronted with challenge in modern soecety.The author discusses the view of freedom in modern society of the West and actual challenge with which it is confronted,and thus offers source and reference for our country to form modern freedom under the guidance of Marxist view of freedom.
