Abstract

The long-span structures are typical wind-sensitive structures. The wind loads and the wind-induced vibration are usually the major factors which control the security of structures. The development of wind resistance studies on long-pan structures, both nationally and internationally,is systematically reviewed in the paper, which mainly includes wind tunnel tests,long-span structure aeroelastic model, wind vibration coefficient, equivalent static wind load and wind-induced analysis. The suggestion on further studies and present deficiency are given out at last.
