Abstract
In the technical innovation of methanol distillation column, the computer was used to simulate the process, and an optimized distillation technical innovation strategy and the reliable vapor and liquid loads were obtained. After the new type, high efficiency flow guided sieve tray was applied, the product capacity was increased by 170%, and the energy consumption was decreased by about 47%. The methanol product's concentration was increased from 99 5% to 99 9% and its recovery rate was raised also. The equipment investment for the innovation is RMB$ 50 000 but the annual benefit increased is about RMB$ 2 725 million.
