Quantitative Analysis of Chinese Webometrics Research Papers

Webometrics research papers published from 1997-2013 were collected by CNKI. Literature statistical analysis and content analysis were adopted in this paper. These papers were analyzed through multiple aspects, such as, the literature' s distribution, the source journals, author posting volume, the author agencies, keywords, etc, showing the development and research focus of Chinese webometrics research. The applicability of Bradford' s law and Pryce's law in this area were studied. This papers demonstrate the research situation of Chinese webometrics research since the introduction of the concept.
