Abstract

Objective To study the CT imaging characteristic manifestation and diagnosis of chondromyxoid fibroma.Method A retrospective analysis of the imaging features of 4cases with chondromyxoid fibroma diagnosed by surgical pathology with reference to medical literature. Results The CT features were divided into five patterns:A tumor with multiple cyst and round or oval shape lu-cent areas.B tumor with relatively well-defined margin and sclerotic reaction.C tumor without destroying periost and following pe-riosteal response.D Calcification within the destructive lesion.E.Rough and compact bone intervals in the destructive lesion.Con clu-sion CT scan is better demonstrated the edges and internal conditions of the tumor, and it allows differentiation of Chondromyxoid fibro ma,multifocal bone cyst, giant cell tumor of bone, chondroblastoma.
