Abstract

Properties of Pt/Al2O3 catalysts for hydrogen-deuterium exchange of methane were studied with a fixed-bed micro-reactor.The results indicated that under the same feed composition conditions, the conversion of methane increased rapidly with reaction temperature until 663 K,where it began to saturate, while it decreased with increasing flow of the reactants;at temperatures of 566-793 K,it decreased significantly with increasing ratio of HD/CH4 when HD/CH4 =1.5-2.5 and when the feed composition changed in the total flow of reactants.
