Learner Autonomy and the Interaction in College English Learning Community

Abstract

The purpose of English teaching is to develop students' communicative competence.However,the limited time for classroom teaching cannot ensure sufficient opportunities for language use.College English teaching should be combined with out-of class learning activities by building learning community and developing the cooperation and interaction in learning to enhance learner autonomy and college English teaching proficiency.
