Abstract

Ethyl acetate was composed with D005 macroporous strong acidic cation exchange resin as the catalyst and dehydrating agent. The pretreatment methods, reacting temperature and catalyst amount for this reaction of acetic acid and ethanol were studied. Finally,a purity of 89. 04% ethyl acetate was obtained and the esterification conversion efficiency was 69. 3%.
