Some Thoughts on the Sustainable Forest Management Plan

Sustainable development is the main development concept at present.Sustainable forestry development is an inevitable choice and requirement with the current development theme.Drawing up the sustainable forest management plan is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of forestry.Based on the review on traditional forest management,the author studied the gap between the information needs of the sustainable forest management plan and the traditional forestry resources investigation,analyzed the status and role of sustainable forest management plan in current forest management and major issues in preparation of sustainable forest management plan.Additionally,the author also gives some advices on the planning combined with the current stage of forest resources survey and management.
