Abstract

By using the data of hail cloud echo observed by 714CD Doppler Radar in 2002 summer, we analyze the characteristics of ripe hail cloud showed on the Radar echo and its corresponding hail areas .The results show the corresponding grounds of the finger echo and its bottom, peak of notch echo and hook echo are hail areas.
