Abstract

Objective To discuss the influence of oligohydramnios on the pregnancy outcome. Methods Totally 160 cases of oligohydramnios in our hospital were retrospectively reviewed as observation group and 160 cases of normal pregnant women were as control group. The differences in pregnant complications, pregnant outcome, delivery ways were analyzed. Results The incidences of IUGR(intrauterine growth retardation) and postterm pregnancy in observation group were higher than those in the control group(P0.05,0.01).The incidences of meconium-stained amniotic fluid, fetal distress and low body weight fetus in observation group were higher than those in the control group(P0.01).The incidence of cesarean section was 85% in observation group while that in control group was 33.75%(P0.01).Conclusions Oligohydramnios is a risk sign that indicates fetal anoxia in uterus.Pregnant woman with oligohydramnios should be monitored and cesarean section should be conducted properly.
