Influences of different dosages of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on symptomatic effects and liver function of chronic hepatitis B patients with liver dysfunction

Abstract

Objective To study the influences of different dosages of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on symptomatic effects and liver function of chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients with liver dysfunction.Methods According to randomized controlled method,200 CHB patients combined with liver dysfunction were divided into 5 groups,namely groups A,B,C,D and E,with 40 cases in each group.All patients were respectively administered 100,150,200,250 and 300 mg of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate.The improved conditions of clinical symptoms and each index change of liver function of patients before and after treatment were observed.Results After treatment,the number of each symptom,alamine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and total bilirubin(TBiL) of all patients significantly decreased compared with previous treatment.The number of each symptom,ALT,AST and TBiL of patients in 4 groups with over 150 mg after treatment were all lower than that of group A,and there was no statistical significance among those 4 groups.Severe adverse reactions were not observed in patients before and after treatment.Conclusion 150mg of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate,conspicuously capable of ameliorating the clinical effects of CHB patients with liver dysfunction and decreasing each index level of liver function immediately,is the optimized clinical dosage.
