Abstract

Objective: To discuss and analyse the outcome of pregnancy by rescue intracytoplasimc sperm injection(ICSI) aftercomplete fertilization failure during in vitro fertilization(IVF) cycles.Methods: After fertilization failure during IVF cycles,MⅡ oo-cytes were re-fertilitzed by ICSI.Results: Totle rescue ICSI were 10 cycles.19 embryos were transferred to the patient during 9 cy-cles.Implantation rate were 10.5%(2/19).6 embryos were transferred to the patient during 2 frozen-thawed embryos transfer(FET) cycles,and 1 was clinical pregnancy.All of the transferred embryos of rescue ICSI were 25,and the implantation rate were12.0%(3/25),both of the 2 pregnancies in the rescue ICSI had abortion.Conclusion: The pregnancy rate and implanting rate ofrescue ICSI is poor and abortion rate is high because of exorbitant maturity of oocytes.Transferred frozen-thawed embryos during res-cue ICSI maybe dispel the badness factor for growth of embryo and endometrium were not synchronization.During the IVF cycles withthe poor fertilized rate,unfertilized oocytes were re-fertilizaton then thansferred frozen-thawed embryos,it may be increase pregnan-cy rate of retrieval oocyets cycles.
