Abstract
This paper combines geochemistry and basin simulation technique to study the geochemical characteristic of the deep hydrocarbon source rock of Well Pushen 1 in the north part of Songliao Basin. It uses basin simulation technique to simulate the heat evolution stages of various geologic period of hydrocarbon source rock. The result shows that Denglouku, Yingcheng and Shahezi members in Lower Cretaceous in Well Pushen 1 develop with dark mudstone, organic matter richness is middle poor, organic matter type is poor and organic matter maturity is high. The oil generation potential is poor, mainly generating gas.
