Abstract
Granular computing (GrC) involves the theories, methodologies, techniques, and tools that make use of granules in the process of problem solving. This paper introduces the basic ideas and basic issues of GrC,as well as three main GrC models:fuzzy set, rough set and quotient space. After that, the applications of GrC in data mining are discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
