Abstract
This article describes the applications of spray forming in fabricating the ultra-high strength aluminum alloy,high specific strength and high specific modulus aluminum alloy,high-silicon aluminum alloy,low expansion and wear-resistant aluminum alloy,heat-resistant aluminum alloy,particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites. Compared with the traditional process which is ordinary powder metallurgy and casting,the spray-forming technology shows great superiority and potential in the preparation of aluminum alloy.
