Abstract
The absorption rates of H2S and/or CO2 in N-methyldiethanolamine(MDEA) aqueous solution at temperature of 20℃ were measured by experiments. The results indicated that the initial absorption rate of pure H2S and CO2 were 8.31×10-3 mol·s-1·m-2 and 1.90×10-3 mol·s-1·m-2 respectively. In the case of the mixed gases absorbed with the MDEA aqueous solution, the initial absorption rates of each component in the mixed gases were linear with its partial pressure in the mixed gases. The absorption rate expression of the mixed gases was given.
