Abstract
Atrial tachycardia is more prevalent in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White(WPW)syndrome than normal subjects.Radio frequency catheter ablation of accessory pathway in patients with WPW syndrome can cure atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia, moreover it can decrease the prevalence of atrial arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia...It suggest that the atrioventricular accessory pathway may play an important role in the initiation of atrial arrhythmias.Further investigating the mechanism and electrophysiological characteristics in patients with WPW syndrome is important to guide the clinical diagnoses and treatment.
