On the Present Situation and Prospect of Reference Consultation Service in Guangdong Province University Libraries

Quite comprehensive investigations for 34 university libraries in Guangdong Province were carried on reference consultation service.The investigations included traditional reference service and digital reference service ,and so on.The article summaries achievements about reference service in 34 university libraries,at the same time pointed out the problems such as traditional reference service and digital reference service.The author proposed:Reference Consultation Service Regulations in Guangdong Province university libraries formulated;the system of subject librarians should be established perfectly;the ways of reference consultation service be unified effectively;the proclaim and training should be enhanced.
