Abstract

The role of grammar in College English teaching has been under discussion and debate for a long time. Some linguists and teachers argue that grammar is not important at all in foreign language teaching. However, others point out that grammar is an essential and important part in language teaching, As College English teachers, we should reconsider the place of grammar and probe into a new way of grammar teaching.
