An Open Attribute Certificate and Its Authentication Policy

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of a large military distributed network database system, this paper points out the disadvantages of the traditional authentication mechanism, proposes an open attribute certificate combining with the advanced technology of attribute certificate, explains its format, content and the authentication policy, and discusses the management and maintenance of the certificate.
