Abstract
American phenomenological psychology arouse in the middle period of 20th century. It formed their basic attitude about psychology on the background of phenomenology. At the same time, it introduced, employed and developed methods and procedures of phenomenological psychology. It carried out some principles that had been absorbed from phenomenology in psychological research so that they could break through naturalism in the phenomenological way and attain more adequate, true understanding of psychological phenomena.
