Studies on Technique of Chemical Control of White Grubs in Peanut Field

The field trials of application different pesticides,different application timing,method,number of times controlling peanut white grubs was conducted.The result showed that imidacloprid WP(340 g/ha),phoxim EC (1 875 g/ha),isazofos G (2 475 g/ha),terbufos G (1 875 g/ha)and the mixture of phoxim EC and chlorpyrifos EC (3 000g/ha) were the effective pesticides for controlling peanut white grubs.By a combination of control in sowing stage and flowering stage,the control effects were all over 81 37%.There was a significant time of application effect.The controlling effect of the two times of application pesticide in sowing stage and flowering stage was the best.The control effect of application pesticide in flowering stage was better than in sowing state.
