Eco-tourism Development and Protection of Nature Reserve

The meaning and content of eco tourism, and the differences of development objectives, beneficiaries, managing model and influences between eco tourism and traditional tourism were described. It was pointed out that eco tourism was the best developing choice for most of the nature reserves in China. Protection is a prerequisite of exploitation, and exploitation is the reflection of protection and the basis of nature reserve development. Exploitation is an active way of protection. Strategies of exploiting and protecting eco tourism resources of nature reserves were proposed in this paper.
