Research and Analysis of the Present Situation of Miao Nationality Traditional Festival Sports in the Area of Western Hunan

Using the methods of consulting literature material,on-the-spot investigation,expert consultation to the classification of Xiangxi Tujiazu and Miao nationality traditional holiday and the traditional sports content,the characteristic,the development reason and the scale and so on,this paper analyzes its function and influence.The research discovered that,in the western Hunan,in Miao nationality's traditional holiday,the traditional sports is the essential part of the whole activity;It has many characters,such as local characteristic,multiplicity,stability characteristic and so on.The development and popularization of Miao nationality traditional holiday sports is influenced and restricted by environmental condition and the equipment,local economic development,players' influence and the restriction and so on manner.
