Abstract

This paper introduces the structure of embedded Linux(2.4.18) driver and the relationship between device management and file system.The loading methods of device drivers and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced in greater depth.it gets the structure of driver program module by studying the codes,draws the chart about the loading and unloading of device driver and the process of the system call,and then introduces the development of a device driver.At last,it sums up the key points to develop embedded Linux driver.
