Abstract
The driving factor of economic growth of Hebei from1978 to 2013 was analyzed in this paper based on the study object of the relationship between economic development and scientific and technological progress and by means of the effective labor model and Solow growth equation.The result shows that the contribution of labor input to economic growth is on the increase in the growth human capital had increasingly important role in economic growth.Science and technology make more contribution than capital and labor input and become the first factor to promote economic development.
