Treatment and Nursing of 83 Cases of Organophosphorus Pesticide Poisoning

Abstract

Objective To explore the first aid and nursing strategy of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data and the nursing measures of 83 cases of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Results Among the 83 cases of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning,77 survived and 6 died.The survival rate was 92.8% and the case-fatality rate was 7.2%.Conclusion Timely and thorough gastric lavage to remove toxins and intensive care were essential for the success of the treatment of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.
