A Study of Sustainable Forest Management Technology in Oinling Forest Area

Abstract

Sustainable forest management is the topic of forestry construction. Present situations and characteristics of forest resources in Qinling area was analyzed, and it is thought that traditional forest management was unsustainable. Based on the advanced theory of sustainable management feasible measures of sustainable forest management in Qinling area are summarized: (1) Implementing forest classification management; (2) Near-natural forest management ; ( 3) Implementing forest capitalization management, (4) Forest eco - system management; (5) Composite forest management, and (6) Application of hi-tech in forest sustainable management.
