Abstract
Examining the relationship between the Christian culture and narrative in Chinese novels,this paper discovers two features: the allusions and references in the Bible become the main theme;and the narrative framework of the biblical allusions becomes the model of narrative in Chinese novels.This is one of the producing modes of Chinese novels.However,Chinese novels based on such a model are not necessarily of Christian implication.The relationship between the Christian culture and narrative in Chinese novels reveal some trace of growth of New Chinese novels from another angle.
