Interaction of Emperors and Society by Analyzing Fashions in the Ming Dynasty

This paper studies the interaction of emperors and society by analyzing the clothes fashion in the Ming Dynasty.On one hand,with the rules,emperors influence the system of custom and caste.Unfortunately,the folks don't obey the rules thoroughly.With the development of economy,people are starting to break the systematic constraints.On the other hand,the creative ideas about clothes have been an unprecedented response.With the star effect,the emperor is leading the trend of clothes and thehe society follows.In addition,the folks and people in the court interact on each other about the clothes.The wives and princesses are bridges for the communication with the clothes.They lead alternate trend of popular fashion.And the emperors' support determines the development of clothes.Emperor Chongzhen plays an important role in the transition of style of the clothes at the end of Ming Dynasty.
