Abstract
Isobutene from catalytic dehydrogenation of isobutane can be used for the preparation of methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE),butyl rubber and polyisobutene,as well as the synthesis of methacrylate,isoprene and other organic materials and fine chemicals.In this paper,the advances in reaction mechanism,existing progress and the study on the catalysts for dehydrogenation of isobutane were reviewed.The new research progress in the catalysts mainly included catalyst preparation methods,preparation conditions,the function of promoter and the evaluation condition of the catalysts.
