Abstract

The orthogonal experimental design of L9(34) was used to study the effects of density, fertilizer and chemical control on cotton development traits and yield, and the optimal combination of density, fertilizer and chemical control was selected. The results showed that the optimal combination was 67.5 thousand plants/hm2 of density, organic fertilizer(dry chicken manure)2 250 kg/hm2,N 225 kg/hm2,P2O5 112.5 kg/hm2,K2O 270 kg/hm2 which were as base fertilizer, spraying DPC 90 g/hm2 at initial flowering stage. In this treatment the photosynthetic rate of the functional leaf on main stem, the number of bolls unit area and the boll weight were higher, and the cotton yield reached 3 807.0 kg/hm2 which was the highest.
