Abstract
The fermentation conditions of Bacillus subtilis which produces neutral protease were studied in this paper. The optimum fermentation medium consisted of 3 % soybean cake meal,3 % cornmeal,2.5 % wheat bran,0.05 % KH2PO4,0.4 % Na2HPO4. And the optimal culture conditions was the inoculum time 8 h,inoculum volume 2 %,poured solution volume 50 mL/ 250 mL,shake speed 180 r/min,temperature 32 ℃,culture time 33 h. Under the optimized conditions, the maximum enzyme activity reached 4 830 U/mL.
