Abstract
The fast development of non-traditional stable isotope geochemistry in last decade is a prominent feature in geochemical field. The pioneering works may be summarized into four aspects:development of methodologies, investigation on the extents of isotopic variations, study on the processes and mechanisms of isotope fractionation, and exploration of the potentials offered by these new isotope systems.Taking Mg,Fe,Cu,Zn and Mo isotopes as cases, this paper made a brief introduction of non-traditional stable isotope geochemistry.
