Abstract
The biodegradation characteristics of chlorophenol are described in terms of of the concentration and mechanism of chlorophenol pollutants as well as environmental factors.Current microbial species for chlorophenol biodegradation at home and abroad are reviewed.Microbial degradation mechanisms, including aerobic biodegradation, anaerobic biodegradation, aerobic and anaerobic co-degradation and cometabolism degradation, are discussed.Prospects for further development of microbial biodegradation of chlorophenol organic pollutants are are described.
