Abstract
Objective:To compare the sensitivity and specificity of myelography,CTM,discography,CTD and MRI in detecting intervertebral disc herniation(DH).Materials and Methods:We analyzed29patients,38DH.Thirty-four of them were confirmed by operation. Results:Of the34DH,28were protruding posterior-laterally,5posteriorly and one laterally. Conclusion:The sensitivity and specificity of MRI were higher than myelography and CTM.Discography and CTD can ac-curately reflect the pathological changes of discs.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
