Abstract

Poly(lactic acid) and its copolymers,due to their non-toxic merit,favorable bio-compatibility and biodegradation,are suitable for many biomedical applications.This paper made a review on the application of poly(lactic acid) and its copolymers in controlled release and organ-targeted release.
