Abstract
We researched the number of heterotrophic bacterioplankton and their relationships with the environmental factors in Bohai Bay Waters during August and October in 2004.The results show that the range of bacterial abundance was 5.7~150 and 3~121(×10~6cfu/L) in August and October respectively.The bacterial abundance was higher in Haihe estuary,and the bacterial number is higher in the south of investigated area,and higher in alongshore.The number of heterotrophic bacterioplankton in August was closely correlated with DO;the number of heterotrophic bacterioplankton in October was obviously correlated with BOD and the concentration of NH_4~+-N,and had a differently obvious correlation with the concentration of DO.
