The Application of Well Dewatering in Main Building Foundation Pit Precipitation Engineering

Abstract

The main building of Beihai Power Plant is located on dredger fill besides the sea.The water level is low and there are two aquifers-upper ground water aquifer and lower artesian aquifer.Well dewatering was accepted to lower the water level of the two aquifers.Based on Dupuit theory,the parameters of dewatering is designed.The practice proves the successfulness of the design.
