Abstract

Firstly the time and frequency domain performance of linear frequency modulated(LFM)signal are analyzed in this paper, then the theory of pulse compression for LFM signal and range side lobe suppression are introduced.Based on this, pulse compression for LFM signal of moving target is analyzed. Finally, how to realize the pulse compression in time and frequency domain is presented respectively, their computation magnitude are compared.
