Application of ZigBee Technology in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

ZigBee is a new low-complexity,low-cost and low-power two-way wireless communications technology,its complete protocol stack is only 32 KB,and can be embedded in a variety of devices.Moreover,due to itself requirement about the technological Characteristics of the WSN,it can be seen that ZigBee wireless technology as the wireless sensor nodes is feasible.We explore the wireless data transmission of the gas meter in the residential area by employ ZigBee technology and the star LAN structure to construe the wireless net,and achieve the design goal.So it can provide a good solution to construe wireless sensor network.
