Abstract
Bakhtin's carnival theory with rich theoretical content and development space,it provides a new perspective for us to understand the postmodernism works.According to the Bakhtin's poetics of carnivalization,we found,that Moscow-Petushki,as the first work of Russian post-modernist literature,is full of Bakhtin's carnival factors:the carnivalesque square,the carnivalesque characters,the extensive use of carnival language,the parody means,and some carnivalesque rituals such as crowning∕decrowninghave been also used in the novel.Carnival factors in the novel,reflect the carnival sense of the world,which is filled with the spirit of dialogue and subversion.
