Abstract

White rot fungus was used to treat effluent from secondary sedimentation tank in papermaking wastewater treatment system. The influence of on processing conditions (such as processing time, initial pH, external carbon addition and nitrogen addition) were studied. The results showed that when the processing time is 7 days, the treatment effect is best, but decoloration effect is more obvious, the removal rate of COD Cr and decoloration are 37.2% and 65.8%. The optimal range of the initial pH value is 4.5~5.0. The treatment effect is better in conditions of adding carbon source, but adding nitrogen source can reduce the treatment effect.
