Abstract

Polysaccharide is the main active substance of Ganoderma lucidum with several physiological functions. Determination of polysaccharide content in Ganoderma Lucidum is useful for quality control and anti-counterfeit of the related products. Analysis methods for determination of the content, composition, molecular weight and structure of polysaccharide from Ganoderma lucidum were reviewed in this paper.
