Abstract
The acute toxicity of pyrethroid and organophosphate pesticides to the juveniles of Scallop were studied in static systems in laboratory. The result indicated that the 24 hLC50 of bifenthrin to the Argopecten irradians juveniles,Chlamys farreri juveniles and Patinopecten yessoensis juveniles were followed by 1.460,1.662 and 2.909 mg/L,respectively;The 24 hLC50 of phoxim to Argopecten irradians juveniles,Chlamys farreri juveniles and Patinopecten yessoensis juveniles were followed by 44.598,182.167 and 39.334 μg/L,respectively;The 24 h LC50 of malathion to Argopecten irradians juveniles,Chlamys farreri juveniles and Patinopecten yessoensis juveniles were followed by 4.931,40.386,and 26.242 μg/L,respectively.Base on these results,Argopecten irradians juveniles were more sensitive than Chlamys farreri juveniles or Patinopecten yessoensis juveniles. The toxicity of the three pesticides to the juveniles Scallop ranked as malathion phoxim bifenthrin.
